The Holmes Cay South Africa Mhoba 2017 Edition is fresh pressed cane juice, pot distilled rum from the Mhoba Distillery in South Africa, a true cane-to-cask artisinal distillery. Holmes Cay founder Eric Kaye, in collaboration with master distiller Robert Greaves, chose these pure and unadulterated casks to introduce spirits lovers to an exceptionally flavorful and exclusive limited edition of Mhoba Rum for the first time in the United States.

The Holmes Cay South Africa Mhoba 2017 Edition was aged for 4 years in South African whisky casks.
PURE RUM - NO ADDITIVES OF ANY KIND
Fermentation with commercial and wild yeasts, followed by pot still distillation and four years in South African whisky casks creates the unique flavors of this selection. No sugar, no color and no other flavors are added in the making of this rum. No water has been added in the bottling, which is presented at full barrel proof, or 59% alcohol by volume.
EXCLUSIVE, LIMITED EDITION
Only 4 casks of this premium rum were selected for the first introduction of Mhoba Rum to the United States. There are few opportunities for spirits lovers to enjoy pure, limited edition rum without additives.
TASTING NOTES
Grilled pineapple and rich cane on the nose. On the tongue, white pepper, light treacle, tropical fruit, and a hint of toasted fennel seed. On the finish, young vegetation and a puff of smoke.

An adult over the age of 21 with a valid ID must be present to receive the package, per alcohol laws. Packages cannot be left on stoops or doorways. Shipping takes 3-5 business days to most states.

Returns Policy
We can only accept the return of defective or damaged goods with proof of the defect or damage.
