Dark Horse Distillery Reserve Bourbon Whiskey
Dark Horse Bourbon Whiskey is made from a mash of 80% corn and 20% rye, both of which are sourced from local farms in the American Midwest. Once the grains have been transported to the distillery, they are milled and mashed before being fermented with a proprietary strain of yeast that was formulated specifically for Dark Horse Bourbon. By using sour mash to catalyze the fermentation process (sour mash refers to the art of using a small amount of spent mash from an older batch of whiskey in order to catalyze fermentation in a new batch of whiskey), Dark Horse is able to maintain consistency with each bottling. Once the mash has been fermented for five to six days, it is distilled through a custom-made Vendome copper-pot still.

Shipping
We ship via a common carrier such as Fedex or UPS Ground to all states in the continental US (with some exceptions, below). An adult over the age of 21 with a valid ID must be present to receive the package, per alcohol laws. Packages cannot be left on stoops or doorways. Shipping takes 3-5 business days to most states.
This item cannot ship to Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont.
Returns Policy
We can only accept the return of defective or damaged goods with proof of the defect or damage. In such instances we will offer a replacement of the same item (subject to availability), refund the credit card used to purchase the item, or issue a store credit for the amount that was paid for the item. We cannot accept returns of items that have been opened already.
Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
