All Coalition Whiskies start from a 100% Rye mash bill – a true rarity in the whiskey world – with 10% of that being malted. This exceptional hand-crafted whiskey, aged in American white oak barrels for four to five years, is then skillfully finished in Bordeaux wine barrels for up to nine months. Barrels (or barriques in French) of the appellations of Margaux, Pauillac, and Sauternes each impart a truly unique flavor profile to whiskey. For those wanting to sample our very original Rye whiskey before Bordeaux wine barrel finishing, there’s a Barrel Proof variety.
