Corralillo is the name of a very old wine cellar that used to be in El Rosario Valley, where wines of the ancient “País” grape were once made.
Pale yellow in color, this Chardonnay offers attractive fresh tropical citrus and floral aromas with mineral hints. Firm and fresh mouth-watering acidity is balanced by a delicate yet balanced palate ending with a long and lingering finish.
Ideal companion for fish, white meat, paella, cooked seafood, Asian recipes and pasta. Serve at 53° Fahrenheit (12° Celsius).
The story of the Matetic Winery began in 1999 when the Matetic family decided to diversify their business ventures and enter the world of wine. Confident in the virtues of the climate and soils in the Rosario Valley, they planted 222 acres of vineyards. The Matetic vineyards are located in the Rosario Valley, a subdivision of the San Antonio Valley. This completely enclosed valley is perpendicular to the ocean and features ideal climatic and topographic conditions for both red and white wines. The vineyards are certified organic by CERES GmbH and follow Biodynamic practices as well. All wines are hand-picked and estate bottled.
We ship via Fedex or UPS Ground to 35 states for a Flat Fee of $9.99 plus $5 Carrier surcharge for handling alcohol. An adult over the age of 21 with a valid ID must be present to receive the package, per alcohol laws. Packages cannot be left on stoops or doorways. Shipping takes 3-5 business days to most states. We can only accept the return of defective or damaged goods with proof of the defect or damage. In such instances we will offer a replacement of the same item (subject to availability), refund the credit card used to purchase the item, or issue a store credit for the amount that was paid for the item. We cannot accept returns of items that have been opened already.
Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
