Will Schragis’s career in food and beverage started as a hobby, when he was asked to run the Wesleyan Hombrewers’ Association. After a year-long trip to Northern California, and a stint as a distiller for Kings County Distillery, Will settled in as a sommelier and bar director for Eli Zabar. He then moved to Zachys Wine and Liquor retail and auction house. Will now consults on opening beverage programs for bars, restaurants, and retail stores. He also guest lectures annually at the Culinary Institute of America, presents on “Wines of Place” for One Day University, and serves as the American Event Coordinator for All Wines Magazine and Sommelier International.
