These are the tenets of a 20 year friendship with Garrett Oliver, Brewmaster for Brooklyn Brewery, yes, but equally so as mentor and teacher in the collective pursuits of knowledge of the palate.
It is with great pride that we release The Ragtime Rye - Garrett Oliver Single Barrel Selection as an opportunity to give thanks on these many levels and to honor Garrett’s work to launch The Michael James Jackson Foundation (www.themjf.org). A grant-making organization that funds scholarship awards to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color within the brewing and distilling trades, the program is open to candidates at the beginning of their careers, as well as those looking to continue their education. The MJF awards present an opportunity to directly fund a more just, equitable, and dynamic future in these historic areas of beverage alcohol that have been so instrumental in our lives and careers. The aroma screams Turkish apricot with delicate cherry and a faint hint of rich cacao (that will reemerge on the finish). A soft, regressive cedar fire simmers throughout. On the tongue and around the cheeks, sweet, bright flavors belie 75% Empire Rye in the mash bill. The fruit chew lingers and stretches on and on and slowly winds into a light caramel that coats the upper palate and settles on the lips with a sharp, pleasing sting of cinnamon bark.

We ship via a common carrier such as Fedex or UPS Ground to all states in the continental US (with some exceptions, below). An adult over the age of 21 with a valid ID must be present to receive the package, per alcohol laws. Packages cannot be left on stoops or doorways. Shipping takes 3-5 business days to most states.
This item cannot ship to Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont.
Returns Policy
We can only accept the return of defective or damaged goods with proof of the defect or damage. In such instances we will offer a replacement of the same item (subject to availability), refund the credit card used to purchase the item, or issue a store credit for the amount that was paid for the item. We cannot accept returns of items that have been opened already.
Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable.
